Early Years
The Early Years caters to the specific needs of young learners in a safe and nurturing family environment, within the larger canvas of the school community. The programme focuses on building the foundation of learning by equipping students with key skills in literacy and numeracy, enabling them for future learning. Children are encouraged to think independently and work collaboratively.
There is also emphasis ,placed on building self-esteem and confidence during these tender years, by helping students understand themselves better as learners as well as members of a community. The colourful class rooms add more to these learning methods.
We facilitate an atmosphere and ambience that celebrates these differences and backgrounds in a warm and nurturing environment. We believe that the way children are treated, and how they treat others in turn, is of paramount importance in making them good human beings and responsible citizens.
The kindergarten play area is facilitated with recreational equipments such as the seesaw, merry-go-round, slide, jungle gym, chin-up bars, sandbox, monkey bars, overhead ladder, and playhouses, many of which help the kids develop physical coordination strength and flexibility, as well as providing recreation and enjoyment.
The KG block has spacious dining hall. This well furnished setup is adjacent to the class rooms to make the child familiar with the table manners from their budding stage.
Middle Years
Middle School is a critically defining point in the educational career of a student. It serves as a bridge between Elementary School and High School, and has a long-term impact on a student’s readiness for future academic challenges. We at Trinity emphasize that the students begin to take more responsibility in their learning and the teacher assumes the role of a facilitator. Curriculum design, teaching strategies and assessments are aligned with the standards of the core programme.
The curriculum is broad based on emphasis of the core subjects. Students are engaged in experiential learning through a variety of resources in order to develop the appropriate knowledge and skill levels. Art, Drama and Physical Education are additional curricular offerings for all students. Students have Physical Training classes to develop their agility and fitness.
Music and Dance enhance student engagement, develop well-rounded, creative and confident individuals, promote teamwork and benefit academic performance. We hold music and dance classes for our boys from STD I onwards.
To change the attitude of our boys that spelling a word is difficult and challenging, we have introduced the SPELL BEE Programme from the primary level to the middle school.
Learning of marital skill is an added advantage for our children. To meet this need we have the karate sessions after the school hours.
To enhance the skill of mathematics we equip our children through ABACUS classes along with their curriculum from Std III onwards.
All our celebrations are made more harmonious with the musical notes of our school band. Our students enthusiastically join this session in their middle years of life at Trinity.
The English communicative skills of our students are enriched with the support of English Made Easy faculties, who train the children to use rich vocabulary by means of a variety of activities from UKG to Std IX.
In the Middle Years there are many enrichment activities including outbound trips to go beyond books and have real time experience.
